Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Senior Director of Initiatives and Operations to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of the organization. The ideal candidate will lead various initiatives, ensuring alignment with agency goals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
This role is 100% on-site and requires residency within the Bay Area. Remote or out-of-state applicants cannot be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Turn strategic plans into clear operational priorities and agency initiatives.
- Lead major projects focused on client outcomes and integrated service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve or innovate programs.
- Partner with compliance, quality assurance, and program teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure service integration across departments and alignment with agency goals.
- Understand grant requirements and maintain processes that ensure funding and service continuity.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and coach staff, promoting accountability and collaboration.
- Support trauma-informed, culturally responsive service practices.
- Work with HR to deliver staff training, development, and leadership opportunities.
- Recruit, onboard, and evaluate team members.
Data, Evaluation & Compliance
- Partner with evaluation and compliance teams to support data-driven decisions.
- Standardize data collection and analysis to measure effectiveness and outcomes.
- Monitor program performance and guide improvements.
- Ensure compliance with contracts, policies, and regulations.
Financial Oversight & Funding Support
- Manage assigned program budgets and ensure responsible resource use.
- Work with fiscal and development teams to maintain budgets and identify funding opportunities.
- Support grant deliverables, reporting, and program adjustments as needed.
Community & Partnership Engagement
- Build relationships with community partners, public agencies, and sector organizations.
- Represent the organization at meetings and collaborative events.
- Advocate for client needs and program priorities.
Required Work Hours
Monday through Friday, first shift.
Benefits
Competitive salary with a range from $150,000 to $170,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
